Set up permission to access Web Dynpro applications using S_START
Criticality
The first two problems can be solved by inserting the correction from SAP Note 1614407. The profile data will not be added to the bill of materials at the time of the roll recording but only when the transport order is released. This ensures consistency between the role's permission data and its profile data. The shared transport job also contains the complete history of changes to the profiles and permissions, so that obsolete data can also be deleted in the target systems.

You can use the function block level permission check by setting the FUNC value in the RFC_TYPE field in the S_RFC authorization object. If you still want to allow function groups, specify the value FUGR here. Depending on the RFC_TYPE field, type the name of the function block or group in the RFC_NAME field (name of the RFC object to be protected). This extension of the test is provided by the correction in SAP Note 931251.
Assignment of roles
By correcting SAP Note 1692243, you can now also use the report in a ZBV (Central User Management) environment; It is no longer limited to individual clients. If the role assignment of the ZBV in the SCUM transaction is set to global, it is sufficient if the correction is recorded in the central client. Then it is only possible to execute the report in the central client. Furthermore, you have the option to select the ZBV's subsidiary systems from the Receive System drop-down box in such a way that only the systems in which the role assignment is to be consolidated or deleted are taken into account. In the results list of the consolidated role assignment, you will now be listed in the ZBV-System column the subsidiary systems where consolidation or deletion took place.

How is it possible to jump from one transaction to another without checking the eligibility for the target transaction? With the CALL TRANSACTION statement! In this tip, we will explain how you can grant permissions for jumps from one transaction to another using the ABAP CALL TRANSACTION command, or actively determine which checks to perform. The CALL TRANSACTION statement does not automatically check the user's permission to perform the invoked transaction. If no verification takes place in the invoked programme, it must be installed in the calling programme by adding additional features for the eligibility check.

"Shortcut for SAP systems" is a tool that enables the assignment of authorizations even if the IdM system fails.

If you do not maintain the values or set them to a value other than YES, the role menus of the reference user will not be taken into account when setting up the user menu.

The report RSUSRAUTH is used to display role or authorization data in the respective client.
