Analyze user buffer SU56
WF-BATCH: The WF-BATCH user is used for background processing in SAP Business Workflow and is created automatically when customising workflows. WF-BATCH is often associated with the SAP_ALL profile because the exact requirements for the permissions depend on the user's usage. The password of the user can be set and synchronised via the transaction SWU3. Safeguard measures: After automatic generation, change the user's password and assign it to the SUPER user group.
Far more damage, however, can be caused by too extensive authorizations. For example, an employee may be authorized to access data for which he or she is not authorized. In the worst case, criminal activity can cause economic damage. To prevent this, an authorization concept must be in place that describes how authorizations are to be created and assigned to users.
The Security Audit Log now also logs events where the runtime was affected by the debugger. New message types have also been defined in this context. To install this extension, you will need a kernel patch. For the fixes and an overview of the required support packages, see SAP Notes 1411741 and 1465495.
System Privileges (Database System) permissions: System Privileges are SQL permissions that control administrative actions throughout the database. Such actions include creating a (database) schema (CREATE SCHEMA), creating and modifying roles (ROLE ADMIN), creating and deleting a user (USER ADMIN), or running a database backup (BACKUP ADMIN).
With "Shortcut for SAP systems" you can automate the assignment of roles after a go-live.
Above all, our proprietary security tool, the Xiting Authorizations Management Suite, or XAMS for short, allows you to build a new role concept based on your usage data and even generate a revision-compliant security concept at the push of a button.
Therefore, particular care should be taken in the dedicated award of this entitlement.
