Authorization objects
Our offer
When displaying or posting receipts in SAP Finance, are the standard eligibility checks insufficient? Use document validation, BTEs, or BAdIs for additional permission checks. The posting of documents, and often their display, is protected by standard permission checks; but they may not meet your requirements.
EARLYWATCH: The user EARLYWATCH only exists in the client 066, because it serves the remote maintenance by the SAP support. EARLYWATCH only has display rights for performance and monitoring functions. Safeguard measures: Lock down the user EARLYWATCH and only unlock it when requested by SAP Support. Change the password, assign it to the SUPER user group, and log it with the Security Audit Log.
THE "TOP SEVEN"
This role is now available for you to assign to users. As a design-time object, you can transport this role via the HANA-owned Transport Service (HALM) or via the SAP Solution Manager with the CTS+ extension. After transport to the target system, this role is activated as a runtime object. You can assign HANA roles via both SAP HANA Studio and SAP Identity Management.
To help you better find your own tables in the future, check your development policy to see if the storage is adequately described. If the development guidelines are not complete, you should supplement them. For example content for a development policy, see the DSAG Web site under Guides. Now go to https://www.dsag.de/go/leitfäden and search for "Best Practice Guide Development".
The possibility of assigning authorizations during the go-live can be additionally secured by using "Shortcut for SAP systems".
If it is a function block or a Web application, you can obtain the programme name by using the System Trace for Permissions (transaction ST01 or transaction STAUTHTRACE).
The website www.sap-corner.de offers a lot of useful information about SAP authorizations.
This entry only forces a permission check on S_PATH and the ALL permission group; You should, however, only grant such permission very restrictively.
