Cooperation with internal support
If you are running a multi-system landscape with a common transport directory, it is convenient to enable this option only in the first system you are inserting support packages into, and to disable it in the following systems. Since the data files no longer need to be regenerated there, this saves time when playing in. Delete data files after inserting You can specify whether the data files should be deleted after inserting the support packages. This saves disk space and is enabled in the default setting. If you are running a multi-system landscape with a common transport directory, it is convenient to disable this option, since then the data files in the other systems no longer need to be re-created (see above Regenerate data files). Execute ABAP/Dynpro generation This option determines whether the programmes and screens shipped with the support packages should be generated during the commit. Note that generation can take a long time. Without automatic generation, the programmes and dynpros are not generated until the first call. Note that this parameter can only be affected by you if the generation is allowed by SAP during the insertion of this support package. The SPAM update does not affect the generation. Through a sound expertise in the SAP technology environment, it is recommended to bring the know-how of the SAP basis into the IT strategy and IT roadmap. For this, the responsibility lies primarily with the CIO as the carrier and responsible of the IT strategy and the IT organisation. Likewise, the SAP basis should serve as a sparring partner for individuals and boards (such as enterprise architects) that significantly influence the strategy.
Planning ahead: Ideally, your SAP system administrator should make the necessary adjustments to your system landscape before end users are affected. This requires careful planning and anticipation of long-term trends.
How does a blockchain build consensus? Once you decide to send a payment to someone, you must use the Private Key to "sign" it (in German: signature). This means nothing other than that you specify another public address to which you want to send the money and confirm this transaction with your own private key. You don't have a central authority to send the information to, you're going to spread the information to all the other Miners around you. The miners then forward this information to other miners, who in turn do the same. This exponential wave of information reaches the entire network of the distributed community within a few milliseconds. Every time a miner receives a transaction, it checks that the transaction is actually correct. It checks which private key has signed, which public address the transaction should go to and whether the sender has enough "coins" for this transaction. What are consensus mechanisms? Any miner that solves a transaction through complex mathematical calculations is rewarded by the sender with a "fee" (transaction fee). How will it be decided which miner will receive the transaction fee? Because only one can get this reward. Also, what happens when you try a double spending by sending one transaction to one miner and then another transaction with the same money to another one millisecond later? These two could not yet exchange and thus information would be different in the network.
Some missing SAP basic functions in the standard are supplied by the PC application "Shortcut for SAP Systems".
